Creating Sulcifly Fluorocarbon, our goal was not to make yet another product on the market but fluorocarbon which ticks all our strict quality control boxes. The same standards which our flies had to pass since we started to tie them many years ago.

Each spool has been measured with micro meter which has accuracy up to thousandths of a millimetre and a dynamometer to not only make sure it is the best we can offer but also to be transparent with our specifications on the product label. Office tests are one way to check the prototype but most importantly our Sulcifly Team has tested it in the field, during hundreds of hours of fishing and plenty of appropriate fish landed without the issues. Only by doing so, we can decide that our brand-new product is ready and we can proudly sign ourselves on it.

Our 100% fluorocarbon is made in Japan in full. Each spool contains 30 meters of it and tippet materials are professionally secured from unwinding by special bands because functionality starts from details. 

On the product label we have written “Made for Unique Moments”. Exactly for this moment, when the big fish bites and the fight begins, nothing else matters. For this moment you must be sure none of your fishing equipment will let you down.
